Project Implementation & Partner Support
Support project teams and local partner NGO staff to facilitate effective WASH project implementation.
Provide technical assistance and on the job guidance to partner staff.
Conduct routine field monitoring visits.
Document project monitoring and evaluation reports and share regularly with local NGO technical teams.
Community Based WASH Assessment & Design
Lead community‑based WASH assessments in close coordination with WASH TC.
Work with SMASeA and PARTISIPA teams at municipality level.
Support identification of appropriate and climate‑responsive WASH solutions, including Nature‑Based Solutions.
Capacity Building & Technical Support
Coordinate with Project Coordinators and WASH TC to carry out partner staff capacity building.
Build capacity on project assessment, topographic survey, NbS, hydraulic and infrastructure design, BoQ preparation, community action plans, GMF group establishment, and M&E aligned with National WASH MIS/SIBSS using mWater tools.
Government Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination
Build working relationships with local government authorities through SMASeA departments.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to align WASH projects with DNRAS guidelines and SOPs.
Participate in municipal coordination meetings and technical forums
General Responsibilities
Support donor, sponsor, and stakeholder field visits.
Assist in emergency or humanitarian WASH response as required.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the WASH TC.
Required Professional Experience
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in community based or rural WASH project implementation.
Experience working with NGOs, local partner organizations, and community structures.
Experience in field monitoring, reporting, and partner support.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Experience in field monitoring, reporting, and partner support.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Knowledge of community-based WASH and rural water systems.
Understanding of Nature Based Solutions and climate responsive WASH interventions.
Experience or willingness to learn M-Water and National WASH MIS/SIBSS systems.
Strong facilitation, coordination, and reporting skills.
