Wash Rack Associate

• Perform maintenance on wash rack equipment and have good working knowledge of all wash rack equipment.
• Perform all types of tank cleaning, both external and internal, to include steam, spin out, flush, brighten, hand wash, and clean.
• Maintain the wash rack appearance to include daily cleaning of the entire facility (inside and outside), restocking and restrooms.
• Follow and understand MSDS sheets and instruct others of the same.
• Maneuver tanks in and out of the wash rack. 
• Pick up and deliver tanks from customers.
• Other duties assigned.

Physical Demands

Handling of items will include lifting or carrying in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve items between 5 and 60 lbs.  Position will involve climbing stairs and/or ladders 20-30% of the time.

Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions

Exposure to Inside/Outside Conditions, Extreme Temperatures (average of 100° F), Humid Conditions, Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Equipment Noise, Work in enclosed and confined spaces.

Equipment

OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes required from the first day of this job.

Due to the nature of the work performed, this position requires the wear of long-sleeve shirt and pants.  Additionally, the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn, depending on task being performed.
