We need a diverse workforce to do our best work.  We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between.  That is where you come in.  We are looking for a Warehouse Manager in our Richland Center, WI location.

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Warehouse Manager is to provide leadership, manage daily manufacturing operations, and drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Cost Improvements that will add value to the Richland Center facility.  Apply advanced knowledge of materials, production planning and supply chain management as well as draw upon substantial experience to identify and/or solve highly complex business problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops strategic plans that supplement and enable senior leadership’s plant and business goals.
  •  Implements world-class systems and tools in production planning, inventory control, materials management, warehouse management, and material distribution. 
  • Directs the development and implementation of activities to meet productivity goals, quality, and cost objectives
  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets.  Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at high levels, controls capital expenditures for indirect labor. 
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.  Develop goals/targets for all direct reports and regularly provide feedback on progress towards those goals.
  • Drives policy deployment for area including KPI charts, action plans and countermeasures. Coordinate operations and maintenance support for the warehouse.
  • Ensures that production and inventory control practices are consistent with other facilities to the extent possible.
  • Leads and conduct physical inventory of all Rockwell inventories on an annual basis.
  • Manages cycle count / inventory accuracy programs.  Provide analysis of root cause of errors and initiate corrective action.
  • Coordinates warehouse efficiency and improvement activities.
  • Uses and promotes 5S, Rockwell Operating System (ROS) and Lean Manufacturing concepts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leads the warehouse in daily operations and continuous improvements which include but are not limited to supply chain production control, establishing priorities, coordination of activities with off-shift management, order shipments, and supporting the production lines.
  • Creates the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work/processes are followed, countermeasures implemented, and the area is compliant with safety requirements.
  • Maintains appropriate command of a room and acts/communicates with clarity and forthrightness, open to innovation and change, and proactively partners with key stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations/Materials/or Supply Chain.
  • SAP ERP system functionality
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience across APICS SCOR Model (Make, Source, Plan, Deliver)
