POSITION OVERVIEW:  To effectively assist the supervisor and / or operations manager in all areas of his/her responsibility and to provide leadership and direction of warehouse operations.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Must be able to oversee and schedule the work of others as needed

Perform various physical safety checks in warehouse

Direct inbound and outbound trailers

Prepare, file, and sort driver paperwork for next day’s deliveries (as applicable)

Inspect materials for damage

Oversee battery charging procedures

Complete flashback forms

Assist with all Will Call (Customer Pick-Up) functions

Track inbound trailers/TRIP

Facilitate warehouse equipment maintenance scheduling and filing of records

Oversee cut production (as applicable)

Must be able to search for/research lost or misplaced orders or products

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Oversee all warehouse housekeeping

Backup and direct LTO(s), expeditor(s), and clerk(s) as needed on essential warehouse duties

Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

 

This position is located and works out of Charlotte, NC

$23.64 Per Hour

M-F 6AM to 2:30 PM
