The VP, AI Enablement with a focus on Business Solutions Delivery is a strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery and support of business solutions.  This role will oversee the implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the strategic roadmap for business solutions delivery and support, ensuring alignment with the company's technology and business goals.

  • Solution Delivery: Lead the successful delivery of high-quality, cloud-native solutions with a focus on core systems such as Policy Admin Systems, Billing and Claims Systems in addition to engagement platforms such as Customer, Partner and Employee portals, ensuring they meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Agile Delivery: Promote and implement Agile delivery models to enhance flexibility, efficiency, and speed of solution deployment.

  • Data-Driven Systems: Advocate and implement data-driven decision systems, leveraging internal and external data via state-of-the-art integration APIs and integration platforms.

  • Team Management: Manage and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of developers, testers, project managers, and support specialists, including offshore technology service providers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • IT Finance & Vendor Management: Oversee IT finance management and vendor relationships, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency in technology investments.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure solutions deliver business value.

  • Support & Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing support and maintenance of business solutions, providing robust frameworks to minimize disruptions and enhance system performance.

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive insurance landscape.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks in solution delivery and support, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in IT leadership roles, with proven experience in business solutions delivery and support within the specialty P&C insurance carrier sector.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Extensive experience with Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Billing systems.

    • Deep knowledge of cloud-native solutions and the specialty P&C insurance domain.

    • Strong expertise in IT finance, vendor management, and delivering quality solutions.

    • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and best practices.

    • Good knowledge of data platforms such as AWS Redshift and reporting platforms such as Tableau.

    • Passion for implementing data-driven decision systems.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large, globally distributed teams, including offshore technology service providers, and manage cross-functional projects.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at navigating complex business challenges.

**This is not a fully remote position. Applicants must sit in our Morristown, NJ office on our hybrid work schedule.**

Salary range specific to for this role : $206,000-$250,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, and qualifications.  In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
