What you'll do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering closely with senior leaders to understand their business needs and deliver bespoke HR solutions that drive talent management outcomes. You will be instrumental in creating an environment where employees feel supported through wellbeing initiatives and where diversity is celebrated as a driver of sustainable growth.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with regional business function heads and their leadership teams to deliver people priorities aligned with both regional and global strategies.
- Act as the primary HR business partner for assigned organisations, collaborating with global HR leads and centres of expertise to develop tailored HR solutions.
- Represent HR at regional business forums and manage relationships between broader HR teams and business units at a regional level.
- Lead change initiatives within the regional business function in partnership with global HR leads and relevant stakeholders, ensuring seamless implementation of operating models.
- Drive talent management activities including succession planning, talent reviews, career development programmes, and retention strategies for high-potential individuals.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to anticipate future recruitment needs, oversee senior appointments, and ensure alignment with human capital plans.
- Support performance management processes by guiding leaders through annual goal setting, mid-year reviews, moderation of ratings, and compensation discussions.
- Coach managers on engagement and retention of key talent while embedding inclusion into cultural decision-making and strategic priorities.
- Conduct impact analysis for structural changes, workforce transitions, and employee relations matters in collaboration with legal counsel as needed.
- Utilise data analytics to inform human capital decisions by providing comprehensive metrics and insights that support leadership decision-making.
What you bring:
To excel in this role you will bring extensive experience from previous roles where you have acted as a strategic partner within complex organisational structures. Your proven ability to collaborate across cultures will be essential as you work alongside senior leaders to shape joint expectations that drive impactful outcomes.
Key experience and capabilities include:
- Extensive experience as an HR business partner or similar role at a regional or global level within a matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies/procedures as well as employment/labour laws relevant to the region
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that have contributed positively to business objectives.
- Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and influence leadership teams through collaborative expectation-setting.
- Demonstrated success in delivering results within high-pressure environments requiring adaptability and resilience.
- Deep understanding of generalist HR practices including large-scale talent management cycles, performance evaluation processes, and compensation activities.
- Exceptional discretion when handling confidential information coupled with tactful interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with insight into global/regional dynamics; highly numerate with proficiency in analysing data for strategic purposes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling effective presentations at executive levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
