Currently, we are looking for Junior Payroll Specialist with French

Job location: Hybrid from Wroclaw

Short description of the role

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients, in compliance with legal regulations, internal procedures, and quality standards. The role involves payroll calculations, reporting, client communication in English and French, and continuous process improvement within a multi-cultural, international environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Independently process and validate payroll calculations, including pre- and post-payroll activities

  • Prepare, verify, and control payroll-related reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)

  • Handle payroll documentation and certificates in line with client and process requirements

  • Respond to client and employee payroll inquiries, ensuring high-quality communication and SLA compliance

  • Identify process issues, log errors, support audits, and contribute to continuous process improvement

Main technologies / tools

  • SAP HR / Payroll module

  • ServiceNow (ticket and issue management)

  • MS Excel

  • MS Outlook

  • Payroll reporting and documentation tools

 

An ideal candidate should have:

Experience

  • First experience or internship in payroll, HR administration, finance, or SSC/BPO environment is an advantage

  • Willingness to learn payroll processes and systems

Technical skills

  • Basic understanding of payroll or HR administration processes

  • Ability to work with data and perform basic checks for accuracy

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to follow procedures and work with process documentation

Foreign language knowledge

  • English – good working knowledge (spoken and written)

  • French – at least intermediate level (B2), with willingness to develop further

Qualifications

  • Ongoing or completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field, foreign language

  • Payroll-related courses or training are considered an asset

Nice to haves

  • Basic knowledge of SAP HR or other payroll systems

  • Experience working in an international or multicultural team

  • Interest in payroll regulations and employment law

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Motivation to grow into a more independent payroll role
