JOB PURPOSE
As the Vice President of Infrastructure Managed Services, you will be at the helm of our infrastructure architecture, leading the charge in vendor and service management for Systems and Network operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and strategic enhancement of our infrastructure services, providing robust support to our organization's dynamic needs
The role is for UAE Nationals.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Architecture Leadership:
Craft and execute a strategic vision for infrastructure services that aligns with the organization's goals.
Evaluate and select optimal infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet the scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure systems, overseeing the transition to cutting-edge technologies and practices.
Vendor and Service Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Implement governance frameworks to manage vendors effectively, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, leveraging vendor expertise and innovation to enhance infrastructure operations.
Systems and Network Operations Oversight:
Ensure the robustness and resilience of network operations, maintaining high availability and performance.
Oversee system operations, ensuring they are optimized for efficiency and aligned with business requirements.
Lead incident and problem management processes, minimizing impact on business operations and driving swift resolution
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT operations management in a large and diverse group, preferably in a Managed Services delivery model
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION
Min of: 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management, architecture and operations. 4+ years as a manager
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
Large multinationals, Commercial industries, Real Estate
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Extensive experience with IT outsourcing and various delivery models including managed services, cloud-based solutions, and on-premise
Proven track record of effective vendor management and partnership
Strong leadership skills and experience managing large operations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Deep understanding of systems and network operations, infrastructure technologies, and service delivery models.
Certification in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant IT operations or management methodologies is preferred.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
