Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT support team consisting of Sonata SMEs and any other area
- Incident management: investigation, communication, work-around development and resolution in collaboration with others.
- Defect Triage and resolution independently and in collaboration with others.
- SQL database scripting/scanning for analysis, data integrity, reporting and data changes.
- Identification and development of improvement opportunities within processes, applications and application monitoring.
- Integrate change and run model for the supporting applications wherever feasible
- Collaborate with other platform teams to resolve queries and provide help to other team members to deal with complex queries.
- Work alongside Platform Engineers to stay up to date on the latest updates to the Wealth Agile Studio.
- Functional working and Technical understanding of Sonata product

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of the Sonata application.
- Vendor management – Work with Bravura and other vendors to prioritize defects for the release
- Conduct Monthly / Quarterly Service review meetings with the vendors
- Work on Risk management to acknowledge and capture risks
- Work with TGRC team on Third Party Risk Controls
- At least 5 years’ experience supporting applications with strong SQL skills, preferably using Oracle software.
- Proven track record in Data Analysis and the ability to relate data and IT processes to meet and enhance Business requirements.
- Experience of managing defects/issues with the ability to troubleshoot, conduct technical analysis, identify wider impacts, and take ownership to resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills with ability to provide accurate and relevant information to the correct technical level of content.
- Intermediate/advanced level of understanding of Excel.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to drive decisions and influence others.
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, high growth work environment.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Sonata Platform product expert knowledge including functional and technical
- Experience in shell scripting using Javascript, Maestro or Python.
- Experience with UK Wrap Platform Applications/Products like Retirement Account, Bonds, ISA, SIPP.
- Experience using Agile Development and tools e.g. Jira, Confluence.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s in Business or B. Tech or any other equivalent certifications
- Atleast 15 years of working experience out of which 6 + years of experience in managing run teams supporting critical production applications / 24X7 Operations
