Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The Design Chapter is responsible for designing seamless digital experiences that deliver value for our customers and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
We’re looking for a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our team and design products that are useful and usable.
As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end product design process — from customer research and ideation, to wireframing, prototyping, and testing high-fidelity designs. Through human-centred design, you will help shape meaningful, accessible and intuitive solutions that solve real customer problems.
Collaboration and communication are key to this role, as you will engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and work closely with cross-functional agile squads. You will also engage with customers to validate and iteratively test your ideas and designs.
As a member of the Design Chapter, you will work with other designers, foster a collaborative team culture, and champion human-centred design within an agile environment. You’ll also contribute to our Design System, Human-Centred Design Centre of Excellence, and Design Community of Practice.
