The Position

The Opportunity:

The Treasury SME is based in San José, Costa Rica, and reports to the Treasury Team Lead CRM NALA. This position provides knowledge and expertise in treasury operations activities and projects to enhance organizational efficiency and support execution of activities for affiliates within Roche Services Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • As the Treasury SME, you will possess deep knowledge of treasury daily tasks, processes, and systems.

  • You will propose and coordinate process and system improvements.

  • You are responsible for training the team and maintaining a training network to ensure knowledge flows across the organization.

  • Your accountabilities include coordinating and monitoring stringent and timely financial tasks , such as daily bank posting, interface control, and manual corrections.

  • You will handle the reconciliation of bank and bank suspense B/S accounts, bank account clearings, and posting/reconciling treasury transactions.

  • You will participate in projects as the technical expert of treasury processes , coordinating and supporting the resolution of gaps and supporting tests/documentation.

  • You will seek cross communication to resolve issues and provide help to team members needing assistance.

  • You must be able to organize tasks and workload with limited direction and follow instructions regarding daily work coordination.

Who you are:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related area.

  • You have 4+ years of finance and accounting experience.

  • You possess a solid understanding of accounting and treasury operations processes.

  • You are proficient in applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and G-Suite.

  • Language Requirement: English and Spanish are required; Portuguese is a plus.

  • You have strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively, adhering to tight deadlines.

  • You are able to perform work with limited direction and guidance.

  • Knowledge of Finance Shared Services, operational accounting processes, and systems like SAP, BlackLine, or SNOW is desired.
