This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
The main purpose of this role will be working as a Strategic communications creator/activator embedded in the Transformation function to support multiple projects/programmes and help drive a consistent and engaging Transformation narrative. In this role you will maintain meticulously high standards across all communications output (content and delivery) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement – supporting adoption of Cencora branding/style as appropriate for local market. You will also own the communications implementation plan, deploying approved content on time, across appropriate stakeholder channels. This is a remote role, with an requirement to travel to business locations in Birmingham and/or South Normanton twice weekly. The role will be on a 12 month Fixed-term contract basis.
Responsibilities will include:
Partnering with SMEs across functions to create informed, accurate content and secure initial reviews, adhering to the established content approval framework.
Working with the Head of Transformation Communications to develop project communications strategies and implementation plans.
Designing and creating effective copy, graphics, audio and video collateral for a variety of distribution sources (intranet, direct email, digital/social media, newsletters, etc.) to drive engagement and participation in support of change readiness and adoption.
Assisting in the development and delivery of a quarterly communications evaluation dashboard.
Supporting the successful creation and execution of live events (town halls, open days, launch events, media tours) in partnership with third party and internal agencies
Ensuring Transformation Communications updates are provided routinely to support all project/programme governance reporting.
Raising and processing purchase orders for third party services as required.

We would value the following attributes:
Experience in strategic communications, preferably in PR agency or a health or logistics-focused organisation.
Proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels and operate as a team player with a positive, professional attitude.
Excellent content production skills adaptable to various media; able to produce engaging presentations, news releases, briefings and video content. Act as a prudent and experienced editor to ensure high-quality output of all materials.
Experience briefing/managing external suppliers/agencies (if relevant).
Ability to work autonomously and proactively identify and respond to opportunities.
Strong project management skills, including ability to flex priorities to maximise effectiveness and manage a busy workload with competing deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams as well as video editing and news distribution tools eg. Marketing Cloud
Additional Information:
Travel to business locations in Birmingham and/or South Normanton twice weekly. National travel is anticipated to be every 1-2 months, requiring overnight stays for attendance at meetings or events rarely outside of normal business hours.
