Job Location: Hyderabad- Remote (Preferred)

Anaplan is looking for a Business Value & Strategy (BVS) Consultant - CoE, based in India. The BVS Consultant will be a core member of the Business Value & Strategy team which is tasked to provide support to the GTM organization and developing Business Value & Strategy practice and capabilities within Anaplan. The team focuses on strategic customer engagements, Anaplan’s value selling process and drives excellence in the customer’s Connected Planning journey. BVS Consultant will serve as a part of BVS CoE Team based in India and will work towards building, enhancing and sustaining our value based selling processes, tools and methods.

What you’ll be doing:

Provide Support to the GTM Organization

  • Conduct insightful company research, industry research, & data analysis to understand customer’s current business strategies and draw critical insight on business challenges so that potential business opportunities can be identified
  • Understand and analyze company’s financial results, 10-K filings, annual reports to extract key business information and generate insight into customer pain points
  • Conduct discovery with the customer to understand key pain points, current state and positions Anaplan solution to solve customer challenges
  • Demonstrate value of Anaplan through high quality value based business case presentations using outside-in analysis, information gathered from customer and industry benchmarks and showcase financial metrics such as ROI, NPV, TCO to justify technology investment and accelerate sales cycle
  • Communicate findings with internal stakeholders from Sales, Pre-sales, Customer Success team and present findings to the customer whenever requested
  • Support BVS principals on key engagements with offerings such as Value Estimation, Value Assessment and Decisions Excellence for key strategic customers
  • Conduct customer surveys through third-party survey platform, aggregate survey results, conduct analysis, create presentation that provides insights from the survey results for Decision Excellence offering
  • Track personal KPIs and metrics to maintain quality and ensure effective delivery

Develop Business Value And Strategy Practice & Capabilities

  • Contribute towards the development of benefit models and build tools and database of third-party industry benchmarks and customer success stories
  • Create reusable assets to help scale team’s reach across the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing and pre-sales to ensure effective and consistent value messaging to customer
  • Understand the value Anaplan brings to customers, the power of the Connected Planning platform, and continuously focus on self-improvement and learning
  • Drive projects which support the goals of Business Value & Strategy team globally

Qualifications Required:

  • 6-12 years in business research, consulting, industry research, value engineering, value insights and analysis roles
  • Strong business acumen in the areas of planning & analysis (Financial and operational)
  • Good understanding of the SaaS
  • Experience in secondary research and good exposure to databases such as APQC, Databook etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent ability to articulate and present findings
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices regularly
  • Adaptable style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of Anaplan, our prospects and customers
  • Strong problem-solving ability
