This Officer position plays a key role within our mutual fund trading team.  The role will be responsible for onboarding new clients and look after day-to-day operations for the team

What you will be responsible for

As Unit Dealing AVP you will

• Managing a team of 15+ people and ensure the team run smoothly
• Manage good relationship with existing stakeholders and work together to achieve great outcome for our clients.
• Assist strategic plan get implemented under the lead of regional/global head
• Have strong risk awareness and can identify the control gaps within the daily process
• Develop a deep understanding of existing mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes
• Assist with client conversions/start-ups of new client relationships
• Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment
• Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups
• Assist with business requirements, testing, and implementing new functionality on our trading application in coordination with management team, clients, IT, and the vendor
• Research and resolve inquiries for clients, trading partners, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines on a daily basis, document and update procedures and team checklists, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
• Assist with client reporting and client projects
• Analyze internal processes and look to automate, reduce risk, and streamline workflows

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 10+ years’ experience in financial services industry
