Trade Operations Analyst - Working Student (German speaking)

TEAM AND ROLE:

The Trade Operations team manages all post-trade activities and ensures that every transaction in the trade-lifecycle flows seamlessly from start to finish. We work closely with the Biofuels & Tickets (THG) team and engage with stakeholders across multiple business functions. In our roles, we ensure that all trade-flows are correct, and that the deal aftercare process is accurate, compliant and in line with the company’s guidelines. The Trade Operations, and Tickets teams consistently operate with speed, efficiency, and precision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the operational side of environmental commodities trade processes.
  • Support process improvements and optimizations across Trade Operations, and Tickets teams.
  • Maintain and optimize data integrity across systems to support accurate and reliable business operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various business functions, prepare standardized contract templates and provide support for KYC procedures.
  • Process data uploads on our company specific platform for electric vehicles, ensuring that all records remain precise and up to date.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Studying towards bachelor's or master’s degree in the field of business, economics, finance, or similar (preference towards graduation year 2026).
  • Intermediate/ advanced excel skills.
  • Fluent German and English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Available for a 6-to-9-month contract for 15-20 hours per week. Based in the Netherlands (preference) or Hamburg and working from the office. 
  • You demonstrate a proactive, adaptable, and flexible approach, and you enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
