We are looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Analyst to support the governance and oversight of BMO’s BIN/ICA Sponsored Merchant Processor program. This role helps protect the bank by monitoring risk, reviewing reporting, supporting AML processes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review monthly and quarterly dashboard reporting, including high‑risk merchant activity, chargebacks, and unusual activity trends.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews and Internal Governance meetings through agenda prep, deck creation, and issue tracking.
  • Manage Unusual Activity Reporting (UAR) intake, documentation, submissions, and tracking.
  • Assist with AML and financial crime monitoring, including periodic reviews and prohibited industry checks.
  • Help coordinate due diligence for new and existing sponsored partners.
  • Maintain organized evidence, logs, SharePoint records, and audit‑ready documentation.
  • Support annual on‑site visits and BIN account reconciliations.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in compliance, AML, risk, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with AML, Legal, Risk, and business partners.

Salary:

$57,500.00 - $106,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
