OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities that include financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close procedures. The position requires a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Execute assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in accordance with established timelines.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely.
  • Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses to support management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including ownership of lease accounting under ASC 842 (ROU assets, lease liabilities, remeasurements, modifications, and disclosures).
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-entity and/or multi-national organization preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
