Role Summary

The TPEM Logistics Specialist is responsible for end-to-end resupply planning, entering stock orders, inventory management, transportation execution, and export logistics planning and service performance within the assigned scope. The role ensures resupply planning inventory levels, compliant and cost-effective transportation, accurate freight settlement, and consistent service delivery by coordinating closely with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage resupply orders in line with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and regional service requirements.
  • Ensure healthy inventory levels and product availability across Ketjen warehouses.
  • Perform stock reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage healthy, blocked, and expired stock through approved disposal or discounted sales processes in line with company policies.
  • Ensure alignment between physical inventory and SAP system records, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Act as a central coordination point for inventory- and logistics-related service issues within the assigned scope.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring inventory, transportation, and service deviations.
  • Support standardization of resupply, transportation, and logistics processes in accordance with regional and global policies.
  • Participate in vendor, carrier, and warehouse performance reviews, ensuring service level expectations are met.
  • Manage vendor-related logistics complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Execute and manage export and import transportation orders within the TM platform, including proactive event management and exception handling.
  • Plan and coordinate customer shipments, balancing service levels, cost efficiency, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient and reliable transportation execution.
  • Maintain end-to-end shipment visibility and proactively communicate cargo status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve transportation disruptions impacting customer service or inventory availability.
  • Ensure adherence to import and export regulations relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Support resolution of customs clearance, documentation, and trade compliance issues.
  • Control and validate freight invoices against contracted rates for applicable organizations.
  • Investigate freight cost deviations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support freight settlement issues and exception management.
  • Support Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Site Logistics teams in resolving open order and logistics service issues.
  • Consult with operations and customer service teams to improve resupply planning, logistics processes, and service reliability.
  • Ensure clear, proactive communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of an additional European language, preferably Dutch
  • Experience leading projects or coordinating teams
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, material management, and inventory management processes
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ MS Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in export logistics, with a focus on import operations.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • IMDG Hazmat Certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
