The TMO Europe – Business Analysis Discipline Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the strategic direction, operating model, and quality standards for the Business Analysis (BA) discipline across Europe. This role will lead a distributed team of up to 20 Business Analysts located in Krakow, Dublin, and Luxembourg, with 3–4 direct reports (Business Analysis Managers).

The Discipline Lead will partner closely with a peer role, TMO US – Business Analysis Discipline Lead, to establish and maintain common global standards, methodologies, and quality expectations for the Business Analysis function within TMO.

In addition to people and discipline leadership, the role will act as a Lead Business Analyst on major, complex initiatives within one of TMO’s key product areas, ensuring hands-on engagement and strong alignment between strategy, execution, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis Discipline Leadership

  • Own and evolve the Business Analysis operating model for TMO Europe, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with TMO and enterprise priorities.
  • Establish clear expectations for analysis depth, documentation quality, stakeholder engagement, and delivery outcomes across the BA community.
  • Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex analysis challenges, delivery risks, and cross-product or cross-system impacts.

Resource Management, Capacity & Execution Oversight

  • Establish and maintain transparent mechanisms to track work execution, assignments, and progress across the European BA team.
  • Establish mechanisms to evaluate, track, and report on the quality of BA work across the European team.
  • Oversee capacity planning, workload balancing, and prioritization across products, programs, and locations (in partnership with Partner with Product Development Managers, Project Managers and PMO).

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Analysis Managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and strategic direction.
  • Indirectly lead and mentor up to 20 Business Analysts across multiple European locations.
  • Define and implement career paths, competency models, and development frameworks for Business Analysts.
  • Help define and implement training, coaching, and upskilling initiatives to meet evolving business and technology needs.
  • Foster a strong BA community with a shared identity, consistent standards, and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Lead Business Analyst – Strategic Initiatives

  • Act as Lead Business Analyst on large, complex, or high-visibility initiatives within a key TMO-supported product area.
  • Lead business analysis activities including problem definition, solution design, impact analysis, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide thought leadership and pragmatic guidance to senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

Tools, Innovation & Enablement

  • Coordinate the implementation and effective use of Copilot, AI agents, and other automation or analytics tools to improve BA productivity, quality, and consistency.
  • Promote experimentation and innovation in analysis techniques, documentation, and collaboration models.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Significant experience in Business Analysis leadership roles, including managing managers and distributed teams.
  • Proven experience establishing standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks across a professional discipline.
  • Strong subject matter expertise around Investor Services products, clients, platforms and workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
  • Experience with tool enablement, automation, and AI-supported analysis strongly preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
