What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET* accredited institution; degree preference is in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil engineering or Bachelor's degree in engineering technology in a program accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Acceptable alternatives are
(1) a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or
(2) a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
Experience:
Typically, has acquired 7 or more years' experience in Transmission engineering, construction or operations, or other equivalent related experience such as Distribution or Generation engineering, construction or operations experience. Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively supervise and direct the work of assigned personnel and the ability to effectively and professionally deal with co-workers and customers is required. Professional Engineer license desired. PMP or equivalent preferred. Position must be approved to fill at the SVP or VP level of Energy Delivery or Grid Solutions whichever is applicable.

(Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
