Job Summary

The role of a BHFS Test Manager is critical in supporting the Sr. UAT Manager and the Relevant Brand/BU - in planning, coordinating, reviewing and sign-ing off on all relevant testing (BHFS & Other Brands). This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes and driving quality deliverables by supporting the teams, and continuously monitoring the testing process adherence

Key Responsibilities

Test Management:

  • Developing and implementing test management strategies to facilitate planning, managing and reporting on all aspects of the System integration and User Acceptance testing

  • Working with Brands’ Test and Dev Leads - review SIT testing plans, Test Scenarios, capacity and testing outcomes & evidenceReviewing SIT testing plans, scenarios, capacity, and the resulting evidence and outcomes in collaboration with the Brands' Test and Development Leads.

  • Collaborate with Business users to create UAT plan, Create/Review manual UAT test scripts based on scope & stories

  • Coordinate test resources, schedule and environment readiness for UAT

  • Support in UAT execution - wherever technical program/jobs are involved

  • Manage the BHFS BU UAT Testers to ensure testing is completed on time and outcomes are documented, draftedOversee the BHFS Business UAT Testers, ensuring timely completion of testing and comprehensive documentation of outcomes.

  • Drafting all Test Reports for BU and relevant stakeholders

  • Participate & Support Hypercare activities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and employees, to organise UAT sessions for Planning and execution.

  • Impact Assessment: Supporting Business Owners assess potential impact of proposed changes on individuals, teams, existing solutions/propositions and the organization as a whole, and developing processes to effectively manage.

  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in change management processes and practices, and implementing best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. ISTQB and ITIL certified. User acceptance testing experience preferred

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Test management, preferably in financial services or banks or any other regulated entities. Experience in all test phases. Proficiency across all stages of the testing lifecycle and strong understanding of the regulatory landscape with experience of key Regulations PSD2/GDPR/SCA/Open BankingProven ability to navigate the regulatory environment, specifically with experience in key Regulations such as PSD2, GDPR, SCA, and Open Banking.

  • Familiarity with all major test methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, BDD/TDD is desirable along with exposure to DevOps

  • Test Tool Exposure: JIRA, XRAY, TEST NG, POSTMAN, ALM

  • Change Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to different audiences.

  • Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and motivate individuals to achieve goals.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project-related issues and risks.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
