Minimum Requirements:

Eight (8) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Description:

The University of Louisville is hiring a temporary Researcher in the Department of Microbiology (Lawrenz Lab). During this appointment, you will perform various laboratory experiments, conduct data collection/analysis for manuscript preparation and presenting at national meetings. Read through literature and review manuscripts. Attend and present findings at seminars. Organize, attend, and train other lab personnel including students and technicians. Meet and discuss data and findings with senior scientists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research data collection

  • Read and edit manuscripts

  • Attend and present at seminars

  • Training of other lab personnel

  • Meet and discuss finding with lab staff and PI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post Doctoral level graduate

  • Lab experience with Yersinia pestis and select agent approval.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
