Responsible for providing administrative support to assigned department management and staff and carrying out secretarial responsibilities as established through departmental needs.
Pay Range: $10.00 - $13.00 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide information to the public via telephone or in person regarding programs, register participants for classes/events, schedule pavilion & sport field rentals as well as provide other department related information.
Collect and organize data for projects.
Prepare and maintain office records, reports and correspondence.
Scan and/or index department records.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
No experience required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Demonstrate ability to prioritize and simultaneously handle a variety of administrative tasks

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
The incumbent works in a typical office environment, but some physical labor, exposure to dust and travel to various sites may occur. Physical tasks will include lifting, squatting, bending, stooping, walking.
