Position Summary
The primary function of this new technician position is to operate dual beam Focused Ion Beam equipment to prepare high quality samples suitable for advanced TEM analysis, including level appropriate tool maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Follow SOP and job instructions carefully with a keen attention to details.
Operate Dual Beam FIB tools to prepare high quality samples free of damage or artifacts for TEM analysis.
Perform level appropriate tool maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
Strive for output and efficiency improvement to help the team achieve TAT and Capa goals.
Keep learning to improve skill level and understanding of semiconductor process.
Determine and assist in development of methods and procedures to optimize techniques and capabilities related to in-lab operations.
Workhours: Compressed Day Shifts; A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays / C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
>1 year college or technical school (preferred, but not required)
>2 years of experience in Semiconductor field (preferred, but not required)
Must have good eyes to hands coordination and the ability to manipulate small features, tools or samples consistently
Must have good attention to details in terms of both subtle contrast change in images and written instructions and SOPs
Must demonstrate motivation and capability to quickly comprehend sophisticated equipment and processes
Must demonstrate safety mindset and quality consciousness
Must be a team player and exhibit good communication skills
Must be able to handle long hours in a stationary sitting position
Operator level tool maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting are desired but not required
Chemical and dry etch sample delayering skill is desired but not required
Physical failure analysis sample manipulation skills are desired but not required.
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and have keen ability to navigate various Samsung software applications.
The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60 - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
