Description -

What a Technical Specialist does at HP:

  • Conduct investigation and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and process failures.
  • Plan and carry out timely and effective maintenance programs.
  • Review machine data; analyze and implement corrective or preventive actions to improve equipment reliability, utilization, and yield performance.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of spare parts and ensure proper documentation for all assigned equipment.
  • Comply with HP policies, including ISO 9000/50000 and EHS&S 14000/18000 programs.
  • Lead or participate in process development and simplification projects aimed at improving product quality and workflow efficiency.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Diploma in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or Higher Nitec with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • IT proficiency in PC setup, network reconnection, and data backup activities.
