Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Valves & Pumps Technical Sales Engineer manages the assigned resources to meet customers’ needs within the context of promoting sales of all assigned valves, pumps and cleaning technology products.
  • Reports to the Head of Sales, responsible for the assigned product group or application cluster in the country. This includes the revenue responsibility.
  • The main goal is to detail and implement the cluster sales strategy, perform sales planning / forecasting, and develop product portfolio and drive revenues through a proficient management of the different routes to market that each market may require and that the Valves & Pumps Technical Sales Engineer needs to prospect.
  • Special focus on new machines and spare parts delivery and meeting customer needs and coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization.
  • Encouraged to think in an innovative way and to embrace modern new product development and theories.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • University degree in one of the main engineering fields. (Chemical, industrial or mechanical background preferred option).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant sales customer service experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant Valves & Pumps knowledge and experience.
  • Advanced understanding in the food or beverage business, customer relationship management and market development.
  • The V&P Sales engineer must have a comprehensive market knowledge which comprise a full view of potential, competitors and competitive environment.
  • Strong capital equipment or service sales experience in liquid management technologies.
  • Capable of designing and implementing strategic sales plan.
