The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to lead and manage technical teams, projects, and solutions within HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative energy technology solutions.
How you'll make an impact:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of energy technology solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and operations, to define technical requirements and strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in technical processes, tools, and methodologies, conduct technical reviews and ensure the quality, scalability, and security of developed solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the energy sector.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical progress and challenges effectively.
Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap development for the company, identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
10+ years of progressive experience in technical roles within the energy sector, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management position.
Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams, including performance management and professional development.
Strong technical background in energy systems, smart grids, renewable energy integration, power electronics, or related domains.
Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IoT technologies is a plus. Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical domains are advantageous.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
