The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to lead and manage technical teams, projects, and solutions within HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative energy technology solutions.

How you'll make an impact:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of energy technology solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and operations, to define technical requirements and strategies.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in technical processes, tools, and methodologies, conduct technical reviews and ensure the quality, scalability, and security of developed solutions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the energy sector.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical progress and challenges effectively.

• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap development for the company, identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical roles within the energy sector, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management position.

• Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams, including performance management and professional development.

• Strong technical background in energy systems, smart grids, renewable energy integration, power electronics, or related domains.

• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IoT technologies is a plus. Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical domains are advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
