About the Role

The Team Manager, RPA reports to the Manager, Client Services Planning and Analysis.

The Team Manager is expected to support the day-to-day activities of the team and maintain a culture of performance by developing and coaching staff to achieve business and individual goals. The Team Manager will work closely with key internal and external business partners to deliver automation options and solutions.

Mentor and coach team members on best practice for RPA process assessment,

development and deployment. Support Fidelity Canada in RPA development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the planning of future process on-boarding and ensure timely delivery of
  • Automations.
  • Ensure RPA governance model is followed and executed as designed before moving to production.
  • Perform opportunity assessment activities, evaluate and validates business cases.
  • Responsibility for day-to-day coordination of the automation activities, supporting the creation and evolution of the delivery framework and mentoring other RPA Developers and RPA Process Analysts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Staff job accountabilities are clearly communicated and understood by directs and indirect reports.
  • Regular and adhoc coaching sessions are held and constructive feedback is provided to help reps attain personal and departmental targets.
  • Appropriate training, tools and resources are provided to new and existing reps to ensure success in their role.
  • Annual performance reviews are conducted with fair and accurate observations.
  • Work is assigned accordingly to ensure even distribution of load among team.
  • Recommend/implement changes to processes to ensure service delivery is efficient and scalable to meet business needs.
  • Acts as first point of contact for escalated issues with robots and processes.
  • Work closely IT and change management teams to proactively manage RPA operational and system changes to maintain service delivery.
  • Ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution.

Expertise You Bring:

  • 3+ years of Development in RPA.
  • University Degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • A track record in coordinating and mentoring individuals on development and
  • delivery disciplines with RPA.
  • Strong Knowledge of RPA applications and how to build automation.
  • Developer Certification RPA.

Nice to have:

  • Blueprism Certified Developer / UI path Online Certification.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
