We seek for “Tank Manufacturing Shift Leader” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Power Transformers in Hitachi Energy, in Dilovası, Istanbul, with below qualifications;

How you'll make an impact:

  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment to ensuring and adhering to the company's HSE and Quality Procedures.

  • Demonstrate continuous improvement management in operational excellence.

  • Ensure the necessary manufacturing conditions in line with company quality procedures in welding and paint shop processes.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by conducting root cause analyses of problems.

  • Ensure materials comply with the quality requirements established for welding and paint applications.

  • Organize surface preparation, zinc, primer and topcoat painting, touch-ups, and all painting processes in the paint shop.

  • Work in accordance with occupational safety, environmental, and energy management system procedures, instructions, and rules.

  • Shift Leaders are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Graduates of relevant departments from vocational schools and Technical Teacher Training Schools and possess a professional qualification certificate.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented, open-minded, and possess strong communication skills.

  • 5-10 years of experience in TIG, MAG, and electrode welding manufacturing and paint shop wet paint processes.

  • Experience in team management.

  • Experience with MS Office and SAP tools.

  • Ability to read technical drawings.

  • Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement (CI).

  • Able to adapt to a 3-shift work system and accommodate overtime when necessary.

  • Teamwork-oriented, eager to learn and improve.
