Position Summary
As a Systems Engineering Lead, you will oversee and guide part of the Systems Engineering team, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and effective delivery of technology standards and processes. Your role includes significant people management responsibilities—leading, coaching, and engaging team members to enhance productivity, innovation, and job satisfaction. As the Lead, you will play a crucial role in high-level project planning and implementation, ensuring seamless and efficient realization of organizational objectives.
About The Team
This position will work within the Systems Engineering team in Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO), collaborating with other teams such as Information Security, Infrastructure, Web, and Networking to oversee and ensure the seamless operation of various enterprise projects and solutions.
Primary Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on Active Directory, including implementation and support in an enterprise environment.
- Desire to lead and manage people, including hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Proficient in high-level planning, organizing, and executing complex and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience driving project timelines, resource allocation, and ensuring the achievement of milestones and objectives.
- Ability to Drive innovation and creative solutions that deliver business results while meeting IT operational guidelines.
- Hands-on experience in strategizing and executing projects related to core Microsoft technologies including O365, Azure, Active Directory Forests, Domains and Trusts, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Advanced scripting knowledge. (PowerShell, Batch, Bash, Python, etc.)
- Strong understanding of server operating systems and underlying components. (Windows Server 2012 – 2022)
- Firm understanding and hands-on experience with ADFS, Azure AD, OKTA, or other similar federation technology.
- Firm understanding and hands-on experience with Exchange 2019 and O365 in a Hybrid configuration.
- Ability to adapt, learn, and integrate new or unfamiliar technologies and products independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to advance organizational goals.
- Ability to monitor usage, anticipate problems, and recommend/implement solutions.
- Ability to contribute to long-term strategic planning, offering insights and expertise to guide organizational technology decisions.

- Extensive knowledge in network and server security and cloud environment operations and management (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proven expertise in enhancing team engagement and productivity.
- Proven ability to oversee large-scale projects from conception to successful execution.
- Firm understanding of DLP (Data Loss Prevention), regulatory compliance, and SPAM protection best practices.
- Mastery in change management processes and implementation.
