The Opportunity:
Are you ready to apply your expertise in systems engineering to help shape the future of mission-critical systems? As a systems engineer on this mission critical DoD program, you'll collaborate with other systems engineers and other engineering disciplines, and immerse yourself in modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
Provide systems engineering support across multiple phases of the systems engineering lifecycle to include technical planning, CONOP development, requirement analysis, system design, scheduling, system integration, verification and validation, training, cost and risk assessment
Provide end-to-end systems engineering support across multiple development and test teams and environments
Investigate and resolve system problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
Provide feedback to the development team relating to operational functionality concerns
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or related STEM field and related experience in systems engineering
3+ years of knowledge of commonly-used systems engineering or test concepts, practices, and procedures
Strong communication skills, analytical/problem solving ability, time management and organizational skills with a team to solve problems.
Ability to work both independently and a self-starter.
Quick to learn and put new skills to use.
Desired:
Current Security+ certification
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr)
Experience with MBSE tools such as CAMEO
Experience writing and maintaining system documentation.
Experience system and unit testing
Troubleshooting software on UNIX/Linux OS

The proposed salary range for this position is:
