Job Title: System Administrator Tier III

Description:

C3EL is seeking a System Administrator Tier II Support to join our team in Bahrain. In this role, you’ll provide advanced administration, troubleshooting, and support for enterprise-level systems and networks. You’ll ensure the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure by applying updates, monitoring server health, and leveraging enterprise management tools. As a key member of our technical team, you’ll help maintain seamless operations while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and security requirements. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Possess expert-level knowledge in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Domain Name Service (DNS). 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2008(R2) and Windows Server 2003. 
  • Strong experience in the deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange environments, specifically Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010. 
  • Working knowledge of backup solutions, including Symantec Backup Exec and NetApp SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP) Manager. 
  • Skilled in assessing and applying vendor security patches and updates. 
  • Proficient with enterprise storage technologies such as Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS). 
  • Experience with server performance optimization and use of monitoring tools. 
  • Competent in utilizing server configuration and management platforms, including Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). 
  • Solid network troubleshooting capabilities and foundational networking knowledge. 
  • Capable of producing clear and detailed technical documentation. 
  • Familiar with developing and executing action plans for both planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have one (1) of the following required certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003 systems administration. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military environment. 
  • Able to travel to support mission up to 10%. 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, OR an Associate’s degree plus seven (7) total years of recent specialized experience, OR a certification plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
