None/Not RequiredWe are looking for a System Administrator candidate to manage our enterprise requirements management platform based on IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS. This role will administer, maintain, upgrade, and support requirement management for our programs—ensuring traceability, compliance, performance and availability of the tool across engineering and systems-engineering teams.
**This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico**
What YOU will do:
Administer and maintain all aspects of legacy Requirement Management production system: project areas/modules, artifact types/attributes, link types, baselines, configuration management streams, user permissions, performance monitoring.
Collaborate with systems engineering, requirements engineering, Configuration Management/Quality Assurance and infrastructure teams to define data model, workflows, system architecture, performance standards, integrations (e.g., link to test management, change management).
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production including infrastructure/databases for outages or degraded performance.
Plan and manage system upgrades/patches, baseline management, repository maintenance, backups, performance tuning, cleanup/archive of modules/data.
Monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability and scalability.
Document system parameters, configurations, compatibility (OS/DB versions), workflows, link/traceability-matrix definitions, best practice.
Provide training and mentoring to engineering, systems engineering and QA teams on DOORS usage, modelling of requirements, traceability, baselining, process compliance.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Provide training and mentoring to engineering, systems engineering and QA teams on.DOORS usage, modelling of requirements, traceability, baselining, process compliance.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience administering DOORS or similar enterprise requirements-management tool in a large engineering/defense environment.
Strong understanding of requirements engineering, traceability, baselining, configuration management.
Excellent user-support skills: able to engage cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Deep experience with Requirements Management software in setting up modules, streams, baselines, DXL scripting, custom attributes/configuration.
Experience integrating Requirements Management software with test management, configuration management, change-management tools or ALM toolchain.
Excellent written/verbal communication and ability to train non-technical users.
Experience in aerospace/defense/regulated industry (e.g., DO-178C, ISO 15288) is a plus.
