What you’ll be doing:
The Sustainability Reporting & Project Coordinator will design and maintain ESG reporting frameworks aligned with industry best practice and regulatory standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate reporting that builds trust with internal and external stakeholders.
This individual will collect, validate, and analyse sustainability data, tracking KPIs and spotting opportunities for improvement.
You will be responsible for measuring social impact using recognised platforms such as the Social Value Portal.
The Sustainability Reporting & Project Coordinator will engage stakeholders across the business to communicate sustainability priorities and progress.
This individual will deliver clear, compelling reports and presentations that inspire action and accountability.
You will be responsible for embedding sustainability and social value into projects and decisions, supporting net zero and climate resilience goals.
The Sustainability Reporting & Project Coordinator will work with procurement to strengthen supply chain sustainability performance.
This individual will stay ahead of evolving ESG regulations, sustainability trends, and digital reporting innovations, refining practices to meet expectations.
You will be responsible for coordinating sustainability projects and campaigns, championing behavioural change, and representing the organisation in industry forums.
What we need from you:
You will need a degree or professional certification in Sustainability Management, ESG Reporting, or Project Management – though relevant experience will also be considered.
The ideal individual will have proven experience in sustainability reporting, social impact measurement, or corporate reporting and project coordination.
You will need a strong understanding of social impact frameworks, methodologies, and metrics, with the ability to apply them effectively.
The Sustainability, Reporting & Project Coordinator will have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data sets and assess impact measurement practices.
You will need the capacity to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions that enhance reporting accuracy and social impact outcomes.
The ideal individual will have thoroughness and attention to detail in collecting, validating, and analysing data to ensure reliability.
You will need knowledge of digital reporting tools and platforms such as Social Value Portal or ESG software.
The Sustainability, Reporting & Project Coordinator will have strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
You will need knowledge of stakeholder engagement strategies, local need analysis, and awareness of social, environmental, and economic issues within rail.
The ideal individual will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, influence strategically, build effective partnerships, and proactively solve problems.
