As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations at our Matehuala manufacturing facility. Your role will focus on ensuring material availability, driving operational efficiency, and supporting plant growth within a high-mix, low-to-medium volume production environment.
About the Job:
- Lead all site-level supply chain functions, including purchasing execution, material planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Oversee and develop a team of four direct reports across planning, purchasing, inventory control, and materials management.
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers through effective planning, coordination, factory scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Drive inventory optimization through reduction initiatives, inventory accuracy improvements, and material flow strategies across SMT, molding, stamping, and final assembly operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, including pull systems, Kanban methodologies, and Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP) where applicable.
- Manage supplier performance at the plant level in delivery, quality, and cost, while collaborating with global procurement and cross-functional teams.
- Track and improve key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory reduction and turns, inventory accuracy, and material cost savings.
- Prepare and deliver executive presentations with data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within the automotive or electronics sector.
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in planning, purchasing, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Experience working in high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading Lean initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Professional English proficiency.
