Record to Report Global Process Owner Analyst
As a Record to Report (R2R) Global Process Owner (GPO) Analyst (Band 5), you will support the execution and standardization of end-to-end R2R processes within the global finance organization. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to process improvement, documentation, and transformation initiatives while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Accounting, Operations, and Digital teams.
You will play a key supporting role in delivering process harmonization, ensuring adherence to global standards, and enabling efficient and controlled finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Documentation
- Support documentation of end-to-end R2R processes, including process maps, SOPs, and work instructions
- Assist in conducting walkthroughs of current (“as-is”) processes
- Contribute to identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and standardization opportunities
- Maintain process documentation and ensure alignment with global taxonomy and standards
Project Support & Execution
- Support execution of project activities under the guidance of the GPO or Project Lead
- Assist in tracking deliverables, timelines, and action items
- Participate in testing (UAT), implementation, and hyper care activities
- Prepare basic status updates and support reporting of progress, risks, and issues
Operational & Functional Support
- Provide day-to-day support on R2R process-related queries
- Assist in investigating and resolving basic process or system issues
- Coordinate with operations teams to gather data and inputs required for projects
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Controllers, Compliance, and Digital Enablement teams
- Participate in project and working sessions, documenting key discussion points and actions
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Controls & Compliance
- Support adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements
- Assist in documentation of control activities and audit support requirements
- Help track and monitor issues or control gaps identified during reviews
Training & Knowledge Support
- Assist in preparing training materials and process documentation
- Support knowledge transfer sessions to operations teams
- Help ensure proper understanding and adoption of standardized processes
Continuous Improvement & Technology Enablement
- Support identification of automation and improvement opportunities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Contribute to initiatives focused on simplification, efficiency, and standardization
Performance Monitoring
- Support tracking of key process metrics and KPIs
- Assist in root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Help maintain trackers and dashboards for process performance
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a Shared Services or GBS environment
- Foundational knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with finance systems (e.g., ERP, BlackLine)
- Exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives is a plus
Location & Travel Requirements
- Based in GBS (e.g., Manila); no relocation required
- Limited travel may be required (~5–10%)
