Head of Supply Chain & Logistics – Zoetis Louvain‑la‑Neuve

To strengthen our leadership team, we are recruiting a Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead all site supply chain activities and ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable product flow.
About the Role
The Head of Supply Chain & Logistics oversees end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including planning, materials management, warehousing, and logistics. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, this role is jointly accountable for achieving site performance goals and supporting operational excellence. The position requires strategic thinking, operational depth, and strong leadership across a complex and highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the site’s supply chain strategy aligned with global and local objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance planning accuracy, operational efficiency, inventory performance, and overall service levels.
- Contribute to long‑term capacity planning and site strategy development.
2. Operational Management
- Lead production planning, material flow, inventory control, logistics operations, and warehouse management.
- Ensure compliance with all GMP, EHS, and internal quality standards.
- Oversee relationships with logistics partners to ensure service quality and cost optimisation.
- Manage and improve system and physical flows to guarantee uninterrupted supply to manufacturing and external customers.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and maintain a robust 18‑month planning horizon.
3. People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop supply chain and warehouse teams to foster a culture of safety, engagement, ownership, and high performance.
- Build organisational capability through succession planning, training, and professional development.
- Promote collaboration and innovation across functions.
4. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Global Supply Chain, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the supply chain function on the Site Leadership Team and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
- Support regulatory interactions and participate in inspections and audits.
5. Financial & Compliance Management
- Manage the supply chain and warehouse budget, including capital investments associated with logistics and warehousing.
- Ensure strong internal controls, accurate system transactions, and adherence to Zoetis standards.
- Lead cost‑improvement initiatives and support digitalisation efforts, including SAP enhancements and process automation.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- At least 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, vaccine, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing supply chain and logistics operations.
- Strong expertise in planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Experience leading cultural change, working with social partners, and collaborating across matrix organisations.
- Proficiency with SAP and digital supply chain systems.
Preferred
- Experience in biologicals or animal health operations.
- Proven ability to influence and lead through periods of change or ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust at all levels.

Education & Languages
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline
- MBA or advanced degree is an asset
- Fluency in English and French is required
