We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support the supply chain planning process through robust reporting, forecasting, and analytics. This role is responsible for building and maintaining baseline forecasts for both demand and supply, analyzing forecast accuracy across finished goods and raw materials and identifying surplus and excess inventory risks. The Supply Chain Analyst will partner closely with demand planning, scheduling, procurement, and the SIOP team to enable data-driven decision-making and improve planning performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, maintain, and enhance supply chain planning reporting and dashboards related to demand, supply, inventory, and forecast performance.
Provide analytical insights to support monthly SIOP reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Analyze plan versus actual performance and identify root causes of variances across demand, supply, and inventory.
Build and maintain baseline demand forecasts using historical data, statistical models, and trend analysis.
Develop baseline supply forecasts and capacity-aligned supply plans to support demand requirements.
Partner with demand planning and operations to ensure forecasts are aligned with business assumptions and execution realities.
Support scenario modeling to assess the impact of demand or supply changes on inventory, service levels, and capacity.
Identify supply constraints, lead-time risks, and capacity gaps, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Monitor execution against the supply plan and support corrective actions when variances occur.
Analyze finished goods and raw material inventory to identify surplus, excess, and slow-moving items.
Evaluate inventory drivers such as forecast error, demand variability, lead times, and service level targets.
Support development of inventory reduction and mitigation strategies in collaboration with operations, procurement, and commercial teams.
Measure and analyze forecast accuracy and bias for finished goods and raw materials.
Identify trends and systemic issues impacting forecast performance and recommend process or model improvements.
Track key planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and excess inventory.
Support system enhancements and automation efforts related to planning and analytics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
2–5 years of experience in an analyst, data science, demand planning, or forecasting role.
Advanced skills in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
Hands-on experience with statistical forecasting methods, including time‑series modeling, trend analysis, seasonality decomposition, and forecast accuracy measurement (e.g., MAPE, bias, RMSE).
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and data quality validation across large relational databases.
Experience with R or Python for analytical modeling, automation, data cleansing, and statistical analysis.
Working knowledge of database concepts, including schema design, data normalization, joins, indexes, and data integrity principles.
Advanced Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and interactive dashboard design.
Experience with Alteryx for workflow automation, data cleansing, blending, and repeatable analytics processes.
Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Report development experience, including building automated reporting, KPI tracking, and performance dashboards.
Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and generate meaningful business recommendations.
