SUMMARY

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Inventory Control Supervisor at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. We are seeking a unique Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team, under direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager.

The Role

The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees all inventory processes at The Alamodome, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across all locations. This role is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, monitoring product usage, and enforcing consistent standsheet practices.

Working closely with Purchasing, Culinary, and Operations teams, the Supervisor ensures accurate tracking of all goods from receipt through usage, including proper storage, rotation, and documentation. The role leads the preparation and completion of standsheets and is responsible for conducting and reconciling end-of-month inventory counts.

Additionally, the Inventory Control Supervisor monitors variances, identifies opportunities for cost control, and ensures compliance with company standards and sanitation guidelines. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, minimizing loss, and supporting overall operational success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and full daily implementation of an efficient inventory management process.
  • Utilize Inventory Management program to track and distribute inventory daily.
  • Reporting of inventory status updates, issues, and suggestions to Management.
  • Maintains direct communication with kitchen staff and purchasing, advising of inventory levels and any missing product.
  • Reconcile purchase orders to invoices, communicate discrepancies to Culinary and/or Purchasing Department
  • Monitor the proper rotation and storage of all purchased products according to established safe food handling procedures
  • Supervise and prepare daily, pre/post event, and monthly inventories as requested by Warehouse Manager.
  • Work closely with the concession and culinary teams to ensure proper product storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and control spoilage
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring that products are efficiently distributed to designated locations within the building
  • Review vendor invoices and pricing to verify accuracy and adherence to agreed-upon rates
  • Assist with end-of-month inventory counts and data entry to support accurate reporting and reconciliation
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience   

  • High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year related experience in inventory control; or and equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills  

  • Operate standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using Outlook, MS Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with inventory control, asset tracking and other software databases are preferred.
  • Experience working with graphic design software and printing equipment preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
  • Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting 
  • Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
