Brand new IT Team establishing the new Release Management capability enterprise-wide
About the team
This role is part of a brand-new IT team for Enterprise Release Management, reporting to the Enterprise Release Manager in the IT Operational Services department. The Enterprise Release Coordinator will liaise and work closely with the release stakeholders (both IT and business) across the enterprise.
About the role
Plan and manage all aspects of the enterprise release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, communication, and governance.
Conduct Release planning and coordinate release timelines to ensure compatibility with other systems and address any conflicts.
Collaborate with the change management team to ensure successful release execution.
Document all release activities, including all release artifacts. Work with project teams to understand release requirements, coordinate details of release.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate release-related risks. Coordinate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions. Facilitate post-release reviews and capture lessons learned.
Monitor and report on release metrics, providing regular reporting and dashboards on release performance.
Continuously improve release process and drive process maturity adhering to release best practices.
About you
Minimum 5 years Release Coordinator experience
Worked in a complex environment with both software and hardware releases
Some experience setting up Release Management process (nice to have)
Excellent communication skills
