About the role

The Supplier Data Manager has responsibility to lead and manage the Procurement & Property analyst team driving improvements in data governance, reporting and advanced analytics. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability and strategic influence to deliver high quality insights to enable technology-driven insights.  


What You'll Be Doing:


Key areas of focus include delivering high quality reliable information and reporting for Procurement & Property as well as the business when required. Key requirements of this role include strong communication and presentation skills as well as attention to detail. 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, management and task prioritisation for the team of analysts. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for procurement and property functions. 
  • Drive adoption of advanced technologies, including Azure, Power Platform, and AI solutions 
  • Guide the team in delivering insights that support procurement planning, compliance, and performance tracking. 
  • Review and quality-assure outputs from the team to ensure alignment with business needs and reporting standards. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and coordination of reporting deliverables across Procurement & Property. 
  • Support the Procurement & Property team in aligning team outputs with broader reporting frameworks and compliance requirements. 
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards, and templates. 
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team, including training on Power BI and data storytelling techniques. 
  • Represent the team in cross-functional forums and working groups, ensuring reporting needs are understood and met. 
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, natural language processing, anomaly detection) to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and insight generation. 
  • Lead the team in exploring and piloting automation initiatives, including report generation, data validation, and dashboard updates. 
  • Collaborate with Digital, Data, and IT teams to align on enterprise-wide AI initiatives and ensure reporting solutions are scalable and secure. 
  • Promote a culture of innovation by encouraging the team to adopt emerging technologies and continuously improve reporting workflows.

What You'll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications associated with Finance/Financial Systems, Procurement; Business, or Commerce is preferred 
  • 4-6 years in an analyst role, preferably with experience in providing analytical support for Procurement and Property modelling and insights  
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and engage stakeholders 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Azure, SQL, and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI) 
  • Experience in data science, machine learning, and AI-driven analytics 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs through others 
  • Experience with understanding financial and property systems and related issues facing a large-scale company combined with the ability to assist in translating these to support stakeholders achieve outcomes 
  • Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge, influence, engage and collaborate with team to achieve objectives 
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst also working as part of a specialised professional team
