Supplier Account Lead

Description -

HP Indigo is seeking a Supplier Account Lead to manage the overall relationship and performance of a key contract manufacturing supplier across multiple product lines.

The role is responsible for the commercial, operational, and strategic management of the supplier, ensuring alignment with business and manufacturing needs, supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and strong supplier performance.

The position is defined for a two-year period with an option for extension.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall relationship with the supplier, including governance, business reviews, performance management, and escalation handling.
  • Ensure reliable supply of materials and products by monitoring delivery, capacity, and operational KPIs.
  • Identify and mitigate supply, operational, and commercial risks.
  • Lead pricing negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier commercial agreements.
  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), and ensure accuracy of pricing, lead times, and supplier data in ERP systems.
  • Drive supplier performance against KPIs related to delivery, quality, responsiveness, flexibility, and cost.
  • Manage supplier capacity and readiness to support changing business demands.
  • Lead supplier-related Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), lead time improvements, product lifecycle activities, and end-of-life processes.
  • Support sourcing decisions, dual-source strategies, and business continuity planning.
  • Partner with Legal and Procurement teams on supplier contracts.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and serve as the main escalation point for supplier-related issues.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Contract Manufacturer Management.
  • Experience working with strategic suppliers in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and high level of ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal English
