Reporting directly to the Inventory Control Manager, you as a Supervisor II (Warehouse Supervisor) will be responsible for planning, directing, and ensuring the integral operation of warehouse activities. This role oversees Warehouse Supervisors and operational personnel, guaranteeing efficient material control, compliance with production plans, proper application of storage methods (FIFO), and strict adherence to safety, quality, internal control, and resource efficiency procedures.
You will lead warehouse operations including storage, material handling, and distribution, while ensuring inventory accuracy, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and decision-making capabilities to ensure alignment with business needs and organizational standards.
Direct warehouse operations including storage, material issuance, and internal material transportation.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate Warehouse Supervisors and assigned personnel.
Ensure inventory control by validating discrepancies and authorizing relevant inventory adjustments.
Validate and oversee inventory audits and the cycle count program.
Define, implement, and continuously improve work methods and efficient use of resources.
Maintain close coordination with production and related areas to ensure material availability and operational continuity.
Apply disciplinary measures in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, environmental, and ethical requirements.
Exercise authority to stop processes or activities that do not meet established requirements or represent a compliance risk.
Location: Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
Experience leading warehouse teams and supervising supervisory-level personnel.
Knowledge and experience using ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Operational planning capabilities with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
