We are seeking a talented individual to join our Admin Operations team at Mercer – a business of Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide. This is a hybrid position that includes an in-office attendance requirement.
The SuperStream Support Administrator is a key member of the fund administration team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of superannuation contributions and rollovers in compliance with SuperStream data and payment standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of transactions, liaising with various stakeholders, and supporting system enhancements.
We will count on you to:
- Administer and monitor SuperStream contributions, rollovers, and data files to ensure compliance with APRA and ATO standards.
- Perform daily reconciliations of contributions and rollover payments received via SuperStream.
- Investigate and resolve SuperStream error messages, payment mismatches, and exception reports.
- Liaise with employers, clearing houses, external stakeholders, gateway vendors, and internal teams to correct and resubmit data when required.
- Ensure all contributions and rollovers are processed within legislated service level timeframes.
- Assist in testing system changes or upgrades impacting SuperStream processing.
- Support BAU teams with day-to-day issues and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce errors.
- Assist in internal audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
What you need to have:
- Demonstrated experience in corporate superannuation.
- Curiosity to learn and investigate issues.
- Excellent organisation, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of superannuation systems and support applications (ideally Sonata, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of superannuation concepts, including benefit design (accumulation and complex defined benefit arrangements) and insurance arrangements.
- Sound knowledge of superannuation legislation.
