Summer Internship: US Commercial Learning and Development Intern (Remote)

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):

The Scientific Learning Content Intern supports the Commercial Learning & Development (CLD) team by researching, developing, and refining scientifically accurate medical and clinical content for training programs and educational materials. Responsibilities include synthesizing complex scientific information, drafting and editing learner-focused resources, and ensuring alignment with approved messaging and compliance standards. This position collaborates cross-functionally to validate content accuracy, maintain quality, and deliver materials within established timelines. Success requires strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Essential Functions / Scope of Responsibilities – Medical Content Support

  • Research, synthesize, and summarize scientific / medical information from approved sources (e.g., PI, publications, internal materials).
  • Support development of disease-state and product-related educational content for L&D resources.
  • Draft and edit medical content for training materials (slide decks, e-learning scripts, facilitator guides, job aids, microlearning, FAQs).
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear, learner-friendly language.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved messaging and claims.
  • Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance (PRC) stakeholders as needed for content validation.
  • Assist with updates and revisions to existing training materials based on new data or feedback.
  • Contribute to content reviews, quality checks, and version control processes.
  • Support creation of visual learning elements (charts, diagrams, clinical data summaries).
  • Maintain documentation of references, source materials, and approval status.
  • Participate in content planning discussions aligned to training priorities and timelines.
  • Assist with ad hoc medical content requests supporting commercial training needs.

Proficient in the following:

  • Ability to research and interpret scientific / medical literature
  • Strong medical / scientific writing and editing skills
  • Translating complex clinical concepts into learner-friendly language
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Word (content development & formatting)
  • Microsoft Excel (basic data interpretation, tables, references tracking)
  • Literature search tools (e.g., PubMed, Google Scholar, internal databases)
  • Working knowledge of clinical terminology and study design concepts
  • Content review and quality check processes
  • Version control and document management practices
  • Cross-functional collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Veeva, SharePoint, or equivalent)

Travel:  None required; possible voluntary attendance at team offsite meeting

Pay Rates:

Bachelors: $27/hour USD

Masters: $30/hour USD

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
