ConnectSydney are on the hunt for a new Strategy Execution Coordinator to join us at our Rockdale office!
ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure.
The Strategy Execution Coordinator role exists to ensure strategic initiatives, business improvement actions, and leadership priorities are translated into consistent execution rhythm, governance discipline, and measurable progress visibility.
As strategic initiatives move through different stages of delivery, this role provides dedicated coordination capability to maintain momentum across workstreams, support structured reporting cycles, track actions, risks and dependencies, and ensure agreed deliverables progress on time.
The role acts as a central coordination point across strategic workstreams, strengthening execution discipline through proactive coordination, high-quality reporting support, stakeholder follow-up, and process consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate strategic initiatives – execution discipline: Support the coordination of agreed strategic initiatives and business improvement activities by maintaining action plans, milestone trackers, and workstream updates to ensure delivery momentum.
- Drive follow-through – accountability: Proactively follow up on status updates, actions, and agreed deliverables, ensuring deadlines, owners, and next steps remain visible and progressed.
- Build and sustain relationships – collaboration: Work effectively across leadership, workstream leads, and all levels of the organisation to gather updates, maintain alignment, and support consistent execution of strategic priorities.
- Provide high-quality reporting – business support: Prepare accurate, clear, and well-structured monthly updates, dashboards, and reporting packs.
- Support process improvement initiatives: Continuously review coordination, reporting, and workflow processes to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Prepare documentation and presentations: Develop accurate, professional, and well-structured documentation, meeting packs, presentations, trackers, and supporting materials for strategic initiatives and leadership forums.
- Maintain stakeholder communication cadence: Engage proactively across the business to monitor progress, follow up on actions, manage dependencies, and maintain alignment on priorities and timelines.
- Manage competing priorities: Effectively coordinate multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholder requests while maintaining focus on agreed deliverables and reporting cycles.
- Handle sensitive information appropriately: Maintain confidentiality and discretion across strategic initiatives, leadership actions, and business improvement activities
- Operate effectively in complexity: Work confidently across changing priorities, multiple inputs, and evolving requirements, translating them into clear trackers, actions, reporting outputs, and next steps.
About You:
- 3-5 years minimum experience working in a similar position, and previous experience in successfully driving strategic projects
- Advanced understanding of working in the construction industry (or similar).
- Experience in project management and progress reporting
- The ability to operate with a high standard of professionalism, responsiveness, persistence, and ownership while maintaining trust and accountability.
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal) incl. report writing skills.
- Knowledge of business systems and the ability to learn new systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Powerpoint essential
