Job Summary: THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is part of the IN JFHQ IN J4, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number D0878P01. If you would like the complete list of duties, please contact the POC of this announcement.

Major Duties:

  • Formulates and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained.
  • Develops, coordinates and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved.
  • Obtains data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness.
  • Develops, staffs and implements logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization.
  • Serves as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program.
  • Updates Internal Management Control (IMC) Plan projecting 5 years into future for all DCSLOG/G4 branches or activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: MILITARY GRADES: WO1-CW3/O1-O4 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: **90A, 88A, 91B, 92A, 882A, 890A, 913A, 914A, 915A, 919A, 920A, 920B, 921A, 922A, 923A, 948B, 948D** GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
