Our new Strategic Sourcing Specialist will join our Sourcing team of 3 enthusiastic colleagues with a mix of seniority and educational backgrounds. As Strategic Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for managing the supplier portfolio of Electronic suppliers on tactical level and support the strategic direction including Category- and Supply Risk Management. Job Description

Your typical tasks will include:

  • Monitor and maintaining agreements and price negotiations

  • Facilitating the framework for Lean Logistics, and secure long-term availability including administration of Last Time Buys of components

  • Escalation point for larger issues with suppliers

  • Ensure alignment with GEHC overall sourcing strategies

  • Facilitate Supply Chain optimization projects and benchmarks (Cost optimization projects, Savings funnels, material changes, supplier changes/transfers)

  • Conduct Business Review meetings with Suppliers

  • Ensure implementation within NPD.

  • Create and maintain sourcing parameters within GEHCs systems through Workflows

  • Supporting ECR & ECOs from a sourcing perspective

  • Support daily operations (when needed) related to delivery and quality issues

  • Supporting internal stakeholders with required information and data and ensure that our information flow is correct

Qualifications

You bring a Sourcing mindset and a relevant commercial background with significant experience within sourcing, preferably from Electronics/Components (EMS/PCBAs).

  • You have a proven track record of experience from Sourcing, preferably within Electronics.

  • You have a systematic and analytical understanding of the whole supply chain.

  • You are motivated and self-driven, a team-player and like to share knowledge with others.

  • You are fluent in oral and written Danish and English.
