About the Role
As Strategic Pricing Planner you will be responsible for leading pricing strategy for defined projects to maximize sales and profit.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic pricing development and implementation
Create and publish dashboards, performing deep dive analysis and providing insights into effectiveness of pricing strategies
Provide analysis on the drivers of pricing metrics and performance versus enterprise objectives
Track and measure incremental sales and margin associated with price changes
Ensure consistent price position in every market in line with the organization, pyramid and category strategies, reflecting an overarching price zone approach
Execute strategic pricing for all categories through the utilization of price modeling tools, competitive price checks, external market share data and market specific strategic pricing goals
Build pricing models that support category business plans and align with overall pricing strategies
Analyze modeling outcomes and provide insights and solutions to issues around sales, margin, elasticity and competitive sets
Assist in the refinement of modeling tool development and ensure business rules are working properly
Analyze the performance of current pricing strategies and make recommendations to optimize pricing rules
Monitor pricing practices to validate strategies and monitor price execution/ adherence
Ensure high level data integrity in the various pricing databases
Participate in the review of financial performance in all categories, including pricing scenarios, market share, sales and profit generations

What Skills You Have
Required
3-5+ years experience in an analytical role
Proficiency in manipulating large data quantities
Analytical thinker who is able to develop insights from data
Knowledge of Pricing and Category Management
Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Prior Assistant Buyer experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Travel may be required
