Location: Ancaster, Ontario (onsite)
As our next Stockroom Clerk, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day activities and inventory in the stockroom. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations and timely support for maintenance and production needs.
• Verify supplier shipments for accuracy
• Unpack shipments and place products in designated locations
• Serve customers at the stockroom window or counter
• Perform physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Handle receiving, cycle counts, draw, and return transactions
• Expedite supplier shipments and coordinate emergency shipments
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Johnson Electric policies, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001
• Perform other duties as assigned
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience in customer service or stockroom operations is an asset
• Motivated individual with problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations products is an asset
• Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work at all organizational levels
• High integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency
• Standing for long periods of time
• Manufacturing environment with physical activity
